Inviting You to GoChurch MediaCityUK Salford – Manchester • 5–6 February 2026

There are moments in the life of the Church when God gently brings many threads together – threads of story, culture, heritage, and hope – and He begins to weave something new.
For two years, the Intercultural Church and City Transformation (ICCT) Gathering has been one of those places where this weaving happens. It began in simple moments — leaders from different backgrounds gathering around tables, sharing their burdens, praying for their cities, and longing for a deeper unity in Christ. As those conversations deepened and friendships took root, something unexpected began to grow. A quiet movement emerged. Pastors and practitioners from many cultures stood together in worship. Stories of pain, belonging, and hope were spoken aloud. Cities opened their hearts. New friendships formed with surprising ease. And gradually, we realised that God was doing far more than organising a gathering, but weaving a community.

That is why ICCT now carries a new name:

WEAVE – Weaving Cultures. Building Community. Inspiring Change.

This is not a departure from our past. It is the continuation of it, a deeper expression of who we have always been.

Why WEAVE?

Because the work of unity is like weaving.

It honours every thread.
It keeps memory alive.
It builds on what has always been done in the faithful, steady work of the Church.
And it calls us forward with courage, imagination, and humility.

WEAVE is a movement shaped by relationships, intercultural worship, shared stories, and the desire to see the Body of Christ reflect the rich cultural diversity of the Kingdom.
It is about becoming one people, without losing the beauty of our many cultures – unity in diversity.

A New Digital Home for the Network – The WEAVE App

Soon, we will launch the WEAVE App, a place where the movement can grow every day—not just at the Gathering.

The app will include:

  • A community space to share stories, prayers, reflections, and updates
  • The WEAVE Mirror, our intercultural leadership self-assessment tool
  • Blogs and insights from partners, pastors, advisers, and practitioners
  • A resource hub for intercultural discipleship, leadership, and worship
  • Booking for workshops, gatherings, and city hubs
  • The ability to create your own group to connect with others in your city or interest area

This digital expression helps us stay connected and keep learning long after the conference ends.

A Growing Vision: Cities, Churches, and Everyday People

WEAVE is not only for pastors.
It is for disciples.
For young people.
For worship leaders.
For city networkers.
For anyone longing to see the Church become a family for all cultures.

Across the UK – from Leeds to London, from Manchester to Liverpool – churches are discovering that unity is possible when we listen, learn, and love across difference.

This is the work WEAVE continues to nurture:
small stories growing into a larger story of God at work in our cities.

A Warm Invitation

As Gather Movement continues to champion unity across the UK, we believe WEAVE stands alongside that vision with humility and hope.
The Manchester 2026 Gathering will be a space to worship together, learn from one another, and imagine a new future for our cities.

We would be honoured to welcome you.
